The Open Hearth is located at the junction of Rte 3 and Rte 230, 1147 Bar Harbor Rd, Trenton, Maine 04605. 

From I-95 (Maine Turnpike) take exit 182A (I-395) in Bangor.  From I-395, get on Rte 1A toward Ellsworth. Follow Rte 1A straight until it marries up with Rte 3 in Ellsworth; continue straight toward Bar Harbor.  The Open Hearth is approx 8 miles from Ellsworth on Rte 3. 

From Route 1, heading North into Ellsworth, turn right at intersection on Main St and Route 3 East, continue straight toward Bar Harbor on Route 3.  The Open Hearth is approx 8 miles from Ellsworth on Rte 3. 

From Route 1, heading South into Ellsworth, turn left at Myrick St (Home Depot) then left on Route 3 East.   The Open Hearth is approx 8 miles from Ellsworth on Rte 3.

Open Hearth Inn is within walking distance to the Bar Harbor Airport, 1/4 mile. We are 8 miles from Acadia National Park,  10 miles from Bar Harbor;  1/4 mile from the bridge onto Mt. Desert Island.  We have three lobster restaurants nearby!
